I am from Melbourne and couldn't find the authentic Cantonese restaurant in Perth until I found and dined in Como Garden in Perth. The food is for sure one of the best original and authentic Cantonese restaurant in Australia ???????? ( I do strongly believe it is top 3 for sure in Australia in terms of like for like matching in entire Australia which includes East Coast of Australia where I'm originally from and I've tried and enjoyed many other Chinese restaurants and dishes over last 18 years and this restaurant Como Garden is a absolute stand out in Perth ). Highly recommended to everyone and food price are reasonable and staff members are very welcoming and friendly especially the two managers Poey and Fenni make me ( us ) as if I am a family member and friend and treated us like kings and queens with their welcoming with wonderful hospitality and genuine authenticity I would go back again next time with friends and for future office party etc. ”

More Attentive. - Fish cooked in 2 ways香骨魚: ---8/10 - 杏香百花雞 Chicken stuffed with prawn paste and almond flakes: crispy outside. --- 9.5/10 - King Crab with spring onion & ginger, market price: ordered extraly on that day. --- 7.5/10 - Violin Duck 琵琶鴨: good --- 7.6/10 - Salted Pork with Kale 鹹肉芥菜: Tender pork ribs. Not overly salted. --- 7.5/10 - King Prawns with Wasabi Sauce: wasabi sauce wasn't overpowering. ---- 8.8/10 - E-fu noodles 干燒伊麵: good portion. Good atomphere. Alfresco dining area. --- 7.6/10 Service: Nice staff. Not busy on Sunday night. Not attentive enough. Food served fast. We ordered 9 dishes, I think it'd be better if they could change new bowls for us once in the middle. That avoids too much sauces and gravy mixed together. Dishes served fast. We asked for a spoon/rice spatula when the bucket of steamed rice was served. All of us felt uncomfortable and hesitated using the rice spatula when they just put it down on the dirty table. We used 1 spare spoon instead. I think that they need time to adjust and run smoothly as they just run the restaurant in March. --- 7.2/10 F&B: mainly Cantonese cuisine. Normal food presentation. The bed of deep-fried rice Vermicelli made it look abundant and richer the texture. I prefer more seafood dices and Stir-fried milk. Good culinary techniques --- 7.7/10 3) Grilled Stuffed Bean Curd 煎炆釀豆腐, $30.8: there are approx. 8 stuffed tofu, snow pea, thick Shiitake mushroom slices. Good portion of fillings. --- 7.5/10 4) Steamed Chicken pieces with Fugus in Lotus Leaf,荷葉雲耳蒸雞,$33.8: unfortunately, the ingredients were not matched with the name of this dishes on menu. There were small bites sized chicken pieces (bone on), small Shiitake mushrooms (cut half-cut), Chinese Pork Sausage Lap Chong slices, spring onions. NO black fugus/ cloud ear mushrooms that I expected. Good portion of chicken. All of the ingredients are the traditional Cantonese Steamed Chicken dishes that are wrapped by Lotus leaf. Though the chicken wasn't overcooked. --- 7/10 (wrong name/ ingredients ?) 5) Stir-fried Kai Lan with Garlic 蒜茸炒芥蘭, $18.8: average. Still crunchy. --- 7/10 6) Roasted Duck燒鴨, ($32.8/half): served with Hoi sin sauce. No traditional plum sauce (not popular in Perth). Crispy skin. My friend pre-ordered it. It should have to be served as the first dish. --- 8.5/10 7) Home style Stir-fried 家鄉小炒皇,$32.8: There were Garlic shoots, Cuttlefish, Deep-fried anchovies, prawn dices, dried shrimps, and onion Probably, the ingredients vary depending on the supply. --- 7.3/10 8) Combination Meat with Bean Curd in Claypot八珍豆腐煲, $33.8: There were deep-fried tofu cubes, chicken, pork, Shiitake mushrooms, and onion. --- 7.2/10 9) Stew E-fu Noodles 乾燒伊麵, $23.8: the noodles were good. --- 7.2/10 - Complimentary Fruit, watermelon. ”

“ We Had an amazing dim sum experience yesterday .first there’s lot of parking packing. The har gow and siu mai were fresh and flavorful, and the pork buns were soft and perfectly sweet. staff were friendly and attentive, and everything came out piping hot. Great atmosphere and very reasonably priced—definitely coming back!!! ”

“ Ever since been under new ownership Como Gardens provide authentic Chinese cuisine. I particularly found their yum cha / dim sum outstanding. The service was great and because we were greedy and wanted to try lots of things we had to ask for a take away container which they happily obliged. I look forward to trying there dinner menu. P.s. they are also dog friendly, so I will definitely be taking advantage of their courtyard area where my Greyhound can join me. ”

“ We have been eating at Como Garden (previously called Imperial Court) for the past 20 years... Owners have changed but their commitment to good Cantonese style cuisine has been steadfast. We come regularly for dim sum lunch and it's always decently good. Siew Mai, Yam Puffs, Century Egg Porridge, Char Siew Pau are always the first order. Not the most extensive of dim sum menus but enough variety to keep most happy. The weekends get REALLY busy so be prepared to wait a bit. They have have added an outdoor Pet Friendly area which is very well received with diners that bring their fur kids along Parking is decently easy (and free) as it's nestled in a residential area. ”

“ We celebrated Mum’s 83rd birthday at this friendly, relaxed restaurant with delicious food. Under the new management, everyone, from the owner to the service staff, was so warm and hospitable. Yes, being new there were a few small teething issues, and we waited a little longer for our meals, but the team made the evening joyful and stress-free. Both the owners and service staff came by several times to apologise, and we were treated to plenty of prawn crackers and even a few extra dishes while waiting. In the end, we thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening and truly appreciated the care and effort shown. Highly recommended! We also learned that the restaurant serves Yum Cha daily.
